Five for Friday-A Linky Party!!

Hi Everyone,

It's been such a busy week for me! While some teachers are blessed to have the summer off, I am not one of them. Now I'm not saying that so anyone will feel sad for me because I am truly blessed. I get to spend time with some of my favorite people! I run a summer camp at my school for children in pre-k through 6th grade. I have done this for the past 10+ years with one of my favorite co-teachers. We have a lot of fun and I love to reconnect with my past students every year.

This week I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs for her Five for Friday Linky Party and sharing my week with you!

Some of my camp buddies hanging out with me! Aren't they adorable?

My first week at camp our theme was superheroes and I was SUPER EXCITED to find Nicole and Eliceo's TPT Store! They had just what I was looking for to teach superheroes. They had the cutest bible superhero collectible cards that I laminated for my campers.

Everything they have can be used in an interactive notebook so I dug into my closet for some composition notebooks and we went to work. My campers loved doing their notebooks!!! The original intent was to collect the cards and they provide a foldable pocket, which we glued into the front of our notebooks, and that's where they kept their cards. They also made a second copy of each of their cards, which we laminated, and then I hole punched them and we put them on necklaces for them to wear. They were so cute and they wore them all week!!! The cards were SUPER CUTE! On the back of each card it had the bible character's SUPER POWER, SUPER WORK and SUPER BIBLE VERSE!! How cute is that??

I'm excited for next week at camp because our theme is iMovie. My little campers will be using our iPads to make their own movies. I will be using

This weekend we are headed south to a bridal shower. The shower is for my future (in a few short months) daughter-in-law. She is a sweetie and we can't wait to see her again. She was able to spend last weekend with us meeting a big part of the extended family. Lots of aunts, uncles and cousins! They have been dating for a few years but when you spend most of the year away at college it's hard to catch up with all the relatives.
I finally finished and uploaded my newest product this week. It is 187 pages of math work! Whew....so much work, but I can't wait to use it in my classroom this fall. This set is for numbers 1-10 and I have already started working on numbers 11-20. I'll be blogging about how I will be using it in my classroom very soon.
